School of Nursing
The Nazareth Hospital School of Nursing (SON) began in 1924 and is
considered the oldest school of nursing in Israel. Over the years,
the school has trained licensed practical nurses, midwives, and
registered nurses.

The Nazareth
Hospital School of Nursing is open to all, without racial, ethnic
or religious constraints. Here, in an atmosphere of support and
encouragement, students gain practical skills and confidence as
professionals. Each class consists of approximately 35 students,
young men and women who see nursing as a promising career and a
way to contribute to their communities.
Registered nursing program
Since 1994 the school has offered a three-year diploma in
registered nursing, recognized by the Israel Ministry of Health.
Upon completing their studies, graduates sit for the Ministry of
Health licensing exam. Graduates go on to work in the Nazareth
Hospital and in medical facilities throughout the country and
internationally.
